Graduation Announcements - Class of 2011

Ok...been busy making graduation announcements the past few days!
Even did one for my son, Michael who will be gaduating here in the next month or so *sniff sniff*
Here are a few of the announcements I've done...enjoy ~

Robert's Semi-Sorta Senior Pictures

Let me explain...LOL
Robert didn't want pictures taken...AT ALL!
So as a guise...his mom talked him into pictures being taken with his sister ~ more like family pictures...but some individuals too!
I got some awesome shots of him for his Grad Announcement even if he didn't know at first that's what we were doing...
Robert and his sister were awesome...and his announcement turned out great ~

Trash the Dress with Alexx & Brad

Well...so they got married in a snow storm
And spent their honeymoon in California at the Happiest Place on Earth :)
It was so awesome that they spent a little bit of time with me...playing in the waves!
They are on the right path to a happy life together...

Clutch Bouquet from the Sweetest Hubby Ever!

I am coming down the escalator at the airport and see my husband standing there waiting for me to pick me up after my 6 day trip to Utah ~ like he always does :)
Wasn't expecting more than a big hug and a kiss...but I noticed he was holding something behind his back ~ guessing it was flowers (he's sometimes squishy like that)...
Definately wasn't expecting a clutch bouquet of red roses! I seriously started to cry right there! I don't think he was expecting that reaction! LOL
I asked him who he had do the bouquet and he said that he did it himself! He knew that that's how brides have their flowers now-adays and he said it was kinda to go along with the "theme" of my trip to Utah...
Flowers are always nice and so appreciated...but the fact that 1. he thought ahead of time to get them & MAKE the clutch himself and 2. paid attention to detail like that was so AWESOME!
Then he took me to lunch...
Ya...I have to be the luckiest girl in the world to have such an amazing husband! Just had to brag on my hunny a bit!

Larsen Family

I love going to Utah because I get to see family while I'm there.
This time I got to see my niece (well my husband's niece...but I claim her!) and I got to meet her sweet hubby and their precious little baby! Well she's not really a baby...she's 2! And is she ever 2!!! LOL
It was so great to see them! I miss seeing family so I was grateful to spend some time this past week visiting...and taking a few pictures!
Here is a little sneek peek of the time with Sierra and her family...

Happy 49th Anniversary!

While visiting Utah this past week...not only did I get to capture the beginning of a family...but got to see my husband's parents who just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary!
What an amazing success story! 4 children, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren (and counting) and 49 years together!
So glad I was able to visit with them for a little while this week. We miss them being so far away!

Alexx & Brad {Wedding} - Utah Wedding Photographer

So...as I remember it ~ Utah in April means spring...
Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature!
LOL!
Went out to Utah this past week to take pictures for Alexx & Brad's wedding in American Fork/Provo and it felt more like January than April!
But snow or not, we were determined to capture the events of the day!
It turned out that there was a break in the snow storm just long enough to take a few pictures at the temple...so here's a sneek peek of their special day.

It was a great day despite whatever the weather threw at us!
Alexx was a beautiful bride...and Brad was so great with his new wife ~ so adoring and looked so handsome!
Just a side note * probably the hardest wedding so far in the fact that it was like watching one of my own kids getting married ~ there were points in the day that I was taking pictures through tears...happy tears though!
It truly was an amazing day and I am so blessed to have been able to be there to capture the beginning of their new life together.
